NEET(UG)-2023 Exam Postponed for aspirants who were allocated exam Centers in Manipur
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) is an offline, yearly examination. The NEET exam is essential for Medical aspirants as it is the only medical entrance exam operated in India, which offers the opportunity to get admission to MBBS studies in all government medical colleges and entrance to AIIMS and JIPMER.
NEET UG 2023 was not administered on May 7 in Manipur’s exam centers because of the violence taking place at the moment. The NTA will, however, announce later the new dates for the entrance exam for the impacted candidates.
Around 5751 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Aspirants were supposed to appear for the NEET Exam at the allocated exam centers in Manipur. NEET UG, the all-India medical entrance examination, has been postponed due to the violent riots in Manipur. The latest date for The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2023 will be announced by NTA (https://neet.nta.nic.in/) later for candidates appearing from Manipur.

NEET EXAM 2023
For the NEET UG 2023 exam, a record total of 20,87,449 candidates registered, which was held on May 7. It was held simultaneously in 4075 exam centers all over India for 1.4 Lakh medical college seats, including government and private medical institutes. NEET UG 2023 will not be administered in Manipur’s exam centers because of the current state of affairs in that state.
However, there is nothing for the students to worry about. The NTA has announced that it will soon release exam dates for medical exam candidates who had their NEET test centers in Manipur.
