NEET Counselling 2022 Begins Today: Know about Registration Process, Fees & Documents Required
NEET UG Counselling 2022:Â Counselling process is one of the most important parts of a competitive exam, and when the exam is one of the largest entrance exams in the country, the process becomes all the more important. Apparently, the NEET counselling is the juncture at which most of the students get confused and make mistakes. This is also the phase that is “make or break” apart from the exam duration.
NEET counselling is the process where the students choose and organize their college preferences. Then, the counselling authority goes through their choices and allocates them a seat keeping their rank in consideration.
MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH, and BSc Nursing admissions will be conducted online by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for NEET 2022.Â
All those candidates who register for the first-round for NEET counselling 2022 must provide their personal, academic, NEET-UG, contact, and other details. They must also pay the NEET 2022 counselling fee online. In addition, aspirants will need to select colleges for admission and courses during the MCC NEET counselling 2022. The step-wise process for the Mop-Up counselling is also explained further in the article.
NEET-UG seats will be allocated after the registration process, considering the NEET scores, choices filled out, seats available, and reservation criteria, among others. As a result, there will be approximately 20,000 seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET counselling. Eventually, the counselling will provide the route to fill the seats in all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS colleges, AIIMS, and JIPMER colleges.

NEET UG Counselling Procedure 2022
Based on the AIR, the examination authorities have prepared the NEET Merit List 2022 which will identify the ranked names of the candidates who will qualify the NEET 2022 exam. The merit list will be forwarded to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for MCC to implement NEET 2022 recommendation for 15% AIQ, Deemed / Central University seats, ESIC, AFMS and Center pool seats.
The remaining 85% of the state quota seats in government colleges will be managed and allotted by state counselling bodies. These sets will be allotted based on students’ scores and ranks obtained in the NEET 2022 exam. The state counselling body will also responsible for providing admission to private medical/dental schools in a particular state.Â
Counselling Fees
Once students are done with filing NEET 2022 counselling, they are supposed to deposit the required NEET counselling fee (refundable and non-refundable). The fee can be paid through an online medium like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The NEET counselling fee 2022 in provided in the table below:

Official Seat Matrix
Certainly, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release NEET UG 2022 Seat Matrix on the official website – mcc.nic.in. Therefore, the MCC Committee will release NEET Seat Matrix vacancy list before each round of NEET counselling 2022 for 15% All India Quota. Consequently, the state-wise NEET Seat Matrix will be released by respective state medical committee during the time of NEET counselling. So, the NEET seat allocation for medical courses such as – MBBS, BDS, Nursing – is held on the basis of NEET rank, NEET score and NEET cut off decided by the participating institutes. To sum up, the candidates can fill in their choices during the time of the online NEET counselling process.

Disability Certificate for NEET Counselling 2022
Disabled NEET 2022 applicants can contact the disability centers designated by the MCC across India to obtain a disability certificate after assessing their disability at the center, in order to benefit from a 5% reservation of PWD medical courses. Applicants have been asked to obtain a disability certificate for 21 Benchmark Disabilities in order to avoid any problems.Â

How to change Nationality from Indian to NRI?
Recently, the Medical Counseling Committee stated that candidates can also change their nationality from Indian to NRI by submitting the relevant documents. In addition, the list of documents to be submitted for the same has been also provided by the MCC.
