JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam through which students get admission into courses like B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Plan & B.E in various NITs, IITs, and CFTIs. The NTA, or National Testing Agency, conducts the JEE Main exam. To apply for this exam, candidates can visit the official website and download the application form. 

The National Testing Agency releases the JEE Main exam  pattern on its official website on an annual basis since the exam is conducted once every year for two Papers- Paper 1 (B.E, B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch or B.Plan). JEE Main Exam Pattern-Highlights

Provided below is the JEE Main exam pattern for Paper 1 and 2 as released by the JEE Main exam conducting authority on the official website. JEE Main exam for Paper 1 (B.E/B. Tech) consists of 90 MCQs for a total of 300 marks. Paper 2A for B.Arch will contain 82 questions for total 400 marks and Paper 2B for B.Plan will contain 105 MCQs for a total of 400 marks.

Question. What is the JEE Main exam pattern for the year 2023?
 Answer : The JEE Main exam pattern for B.Tech will have three sections with 25 questions from each subject- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The paper will consist of total of 300 marks.  

Question. What will be the marking scheme of the JEE Main 2023 exam?
Answer : The JEE Main 2023 exam will have 25 questions from each subject, and the paper will be out of 300 marks. For the multiple-choice based questions, students will be provided four marks for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of one mark each for every wrong answer. 

Question: What is the distribution of sections and questions in JEE Main Paper 2 Arch?
Answer : The JEE Main B.Arch question paper will consist of three sections- Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing. The maths section will comprise 30 questions, the aptitude section will consist of 50 questions, and the third section, Drawing will contain 2 questions.

 Answer : In accordance with the NTA JEE Main 2023 exam pattern, numeric questions will have numeric values as their answers and are usually accurate to four decimal places. Unlike multiple-choice questions, these answers must be answered and calculated by the candidate.

Question: What is the best method to answer the numerical questions in JEE Main question paper?
Answer : The numerical value questions have to be calculated by the aspirants and the reduced value should be entered as the answer which can be considered right upto 4 decimal places.
