The NTA successfully conducted the (NEET-UG) examination on May 6. The NEET is the single largest medical entrance test conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses. NEET 2023 provides admission to nearly a total of 91,927 BDS seats, 50,720 MBBS seats, 27,698 AYUSH seats, and 525B.VSc & AH seats.
NEET 2023 was conducted successfully throughout India except for Manipur, where the exam is delayed due to ongoing violence. According to the reports, over 20 lakh scholars registered for the medical entrance test this time. Soon after the test got over numerous guiding institutes released the unofficial NEET answer key. According to experts and NEET test takers overall test was moderate on the difficulty position. Overall Chemistry was the most delicate of all subjects, While drugs and Biology were comparatively easy.
In NEET 2023, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry had more weightage compared to physical chemistry. While in Botany, some questions were difficult & tricky. Most questions were lengthy and time-consuming. Most questions were from NCERT. While the drugs section contains around 78% numerical questions, Numerous test takers said that Physics Section B had tricky questions.
